BODY ESTHETIC MEDICINE
Mesotherapy is an esthetic method for treatment: alopecia, cellulit, stretch marks, local fat tissue deposites, and skin aging. Mesotherapy employs multiple injections of pharmaceutical and homeopathic medications, plant extracts, vitamins, and other ingredients into subcutaneous fat. Using a mix of vitamins, antioxidants and minerals, mesotherapy can rejuvenate, rehydrate and tighten the skin. After consultation and assessment, a course of treatments is normally recommended followed by maintenance sessions. Other treatments such as microdermabrasion or photorejuvenation may also be combined in a programme with mesotherapy for greater results. It is indicated as a treatment for various skin diseases, which involves injecting small doses of treatment substances directly into target areas. Mesotherapy allows reversal or hindering of many unfavourable changes.

Frequency of procedures.
Mesotherapy is effective only when a series of procedures is performed. Initially a procedure each 10-14 days for 2 months is recommended, afterwards one procedure monthly should suffice to sustain achieved effect.
Skin with cellulite can be treated with special mesotherapy. Dedicated ingredients used in coctails have abilities to reduce cellulite tissue, and smooth out skin in cellulite area. It is recommended to do cellulite mesotherapy with endermology. Usually 6 sessions of Mesotherapy in 10-14 days intervals is recommended in cellulite reduction.
Striae or the strech marks are easily recognizable pink or whitish, shriveled lines on certain parts of our body. The surface layer of the skin is unchanged while in deeper layers, collagen and elastin that give our skin firmness and elasticity, have become thin and torn. These are the permanently torn fibers of collagen and elastine. Mesotherapy can have an effect on the collagen and elastine thickening during the mechanical skin damage by the needle. The needle is placed along the whitish line of the striae. In the skin recovery process the sting activates the natural processes that increase the level of the new collagen and elastine. It is an effective method, due to active substance used in mesotherapy. Stretch marks mesotherapy mixtures use hialuronic acid, tretinoin, and growth factors.
Fat Dissolving Injections. Eliminate stubborn fat in as few as 3-6 sessions!
How does Aqualyx™ work?
Aqualyx™ contains desoxycholan-acid, a secondary bile acid. With the assistance of bacteria our body is able to produce this acid itself in the liver in order to aid the digestion of fat. The fat-dissolving effect of this acid was utilized by Prof. Pasquale Motolese, the inventor of Aqualyx™, who developed a synthetically manufactured variant. The active substance locks on to the fat cell walls and starts to operate, resulting in the cell wall becoming instable and releasing the fatty acid that is stored within. Cell residue is removed by the body’s defenses and the non-attached fatty acids are metabolized and converted into energy.
Used for the dissolution of fat depots, Aqualyx™ can be administered all over the entire body .e.g.:
- double chin,
- prejowl sulcus,
- upper arms,
- arm pits,
- saddle bags,
- augmented fat depots located on buttocks, chest and the inner thighs.
Aqualyx™ is also a possible treatment of pseudo-gynecomastia and buffalo humps.
The amount of treatments varies according to the desired degree of amendment, the dimensions of the fat depot and the individual reactions of the fat tissue. On average you will have to expect around 3 to 5 appointments, with 4-week intervals, until you can actually perceive the results. A treatment with Aqualyx™ does not result in weight loss. Healthy nutrition as well as an exercise regimen are an absolute necessity to ensure success of the treatment.
The solution is injected into the fat through a special Aqualyx™ sharp cannula using a unique trained technique. Usually 2 injection spots are required per region with the amount of product used differing according to the area of fat being treated. Lidocaine (a local anesthetic) can be added to the solution before injecting to improve patient comfort levels; the treatment is relatively painless with a warm sensation, itching, slight burning, slight edema and reddening appearance for 1-3 days within the treated area.
